Business Development Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth across our key markets. You will be responsible for expanding our footprint in Texas, Florida, New York, Illinois, and New Jersey by building relationships with healthcare providers, clinics, hospitals, and strategic partners.

You will act as the face of the company, identifying new opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the successful onboarding of new partners. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape in these specific states and a proven track record of meeting revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion & Strategy

    • Develop and execute a territory-specific business development plan for the assigned states (TX, FL, NY, IL, NJ).

    • Identify and prioritize high-potential accounts, including private practices, urgent care centers, hospital systems, and corporate wellness programs.

    • Conduct market research to understand regional healthcare trends, competitor activity, and regulatory nuances affecting business opportunities in each state.

    Sales & Partnership Development

    • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.

    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential partners using CRM tools.

    • Present our value proposition to key decision-makers (Practice Managers, Clinic Owners, C-suite executives).

    • Negotiate service agreements, provider network agreements, and partnership terms.

    Relationship Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for new partners during the onboarding phase, ensuring a smooth transition to the operations team.

    • Collaborate with marketing to tailor campaigns that resonate with specific state demographics (e.g., urban centers in NY/IL vs. suburban/rural markets in TX/FL).

    • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows within the territory.

    Reporting & Analytics

    • Track all business development activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts in [CRM Tool, e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot].

    • Provide regular reports to leadership on market feedback, competitive intelligence, and growth opportunities.

    • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Experience:

      • Minimum [3-5] years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, specifically within the healthcare industry.

      • Proven track record of successfully closing deals and building partnerships in multiple states across the US.

    • Knowledge:

      • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape in TX, FL, NY, IL, and NJ (knowledge of payer networks, provider groups, or state-specific health regulations is a plus).

      • Familiarity with value-based care, telehealth, or managed service organizations (MSOs) is highly desirable.

    • Skills:

      • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

      • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

      • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
